Here’s a quick update from the last several weeks at Urbavore! Our team has joined up with the Santa Cruz Works accelerator program in Santa Cruz, California to help take our product development to the next level. The fast paced and innovative environment in Santa Cruz is fueling our passion for sustainability and food security and helping us to cultivate a robust strategy for growth. Our on-the-ground team members, Janna and Kenji, report that they can feel success in the air!
The accelerator program has already helped us to accomplish many things. We have officially incorporated as a Certified Benefit Corporation with Sustainable Law Group, P.C., and have doubled down on product development with our uBloom system! We are gaining tremendous knowledge and resources and are building our networks to bring the uBloom system to market in 2018. Our amazing mentors Mark Karlow and Heather Putnam are helping us every step of the way!
The Urbavore team plans to unveil the next iteration of our uBloom smart garden system at Demo Day in March 2018. If you’re already curious to learn more about us, our team, and our products under development, don’t worry! You won’t have to wait until March! You can shoot us an email, follow us on social media, or even sign up for our newsletter which will be sending out its first update next month! And keep an eye out for more open houses and events at Santa Cruz Works! We’d love to meet you and tell you all about the food revolution occurring at Urbavore!
Come check us out and look for more blog post in the coming weeks where we will be revealing more photos of the program and some sneak peaks at the ubloom system development.
